Ferny Grove was lucky to have clear blue skies for the annual athletics carnival. The strong winds which blew throughout the day did not dampen the enthusiasm of the competitors and strong competition was displayed during the day. The strength of the houses was such that going into the final few events, just 10 points separated the two top houses. So close was the competition that a winner was not able to be declared on the day. Organisers will have final points tallied for announcement of the next assembly.
