Learning Support

Learning Support Services at Ferny Grove High School provide in class and tutorial support for students who are experiencing difficulties across the curriculum areas with specific focus on literacy and numeracy. Additionally students are assisted with organisation and planning of assessment tasks and homework.

All students attend mainstream classes and receive support in the classroom from teacher aides or specialist teachers. Small group tutorials and one on one support is also given in the Support Services classroom to assist with the completion of class tasks or assessment pieces. This service may be accessed during lunch breaks.
