Performance and achievements

Ferny Grove State High School has an excellent reputation in the wider community for outstanding achievement across academic, cultural, sporting and citizenship areas.  We consistently attain academic results that place our students among the best in the nation. Literacy and Numeracy are key planks within all subject studies - a fact that is demonstrated each year, with NAPLAN results above those of like schools, and state and national averages.

The results from our 2017 graduating students have been outstanding, with 99.6% of our students receiving a Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE), 3 students achieving an OP1, around 19% of students achieving an OP1-5, around 50% of students achieving an OP1-10, and 86% of students achieving an OP1-15. 63% of graduating students exited with a vocational qualification, most gained through a School-based traineeship or apprenticeship.
