Student services and support programs

Ferny Grove State High School students have access to a full range of support services including Guidance Counsellors,  Form Class Teachers, School Chaplains, Defence Transition Mentor, Student Peer Mediators, and Youth Health Nurse.

In addition, Year Coordinators, Form Teachers and Deputy Principals provide consistent leadership and support for their cohorts for the duration of their schooling, hence a student commencing in Year 7 or 8 will have continuity of support from the same staff members until the end of Year 12.

The school has a Special Education Unit and Learning Support program for students with additional needs.
