Our Principal Tours for 2026 have now concluded.
Principal Tours offer families the opportunity to meet our Principal, Executive Team and key Junior Secondary staff, learn more about Ferny Grove State High School and explore our vibrant learning facilities.
Our morning sessions provide a unique opportunity to see students in action as they discover their passions, engage in innovative learning experiences and explore their pathways to success.
Dates for our 2027 Principal Tours will be published early next year.

FGSHS 6 Experience Day
Our Experience Days for students entering Year 7 in 2027 have now concluded.
These days provide an exciting opportunity for students to experience life at Ferny Grove State High School, explore our state-of-the-art facilities, participate in our innovative signature programs and experience the strong sense of community and House spirit that makes our school unique.
Experience Days for students entering Year 7 in 2028 will take place in 2027. Dates and registration information will be published on our website early next year.
We look forward to welcoming our future students to Ferny Grove State High School and giving them a taste of the opportunities, connections and learning experiences that await them.
Orientation Days
Early in December each year, we hold orientation days for students who will be commencing Year 7 in the following year. Students attend a welcome session followed by a series of mini-classes and are given orientation tours of the school. Enrolled students will receive further information about our Ferny First Year Orientation Day towards the end of the year as part of the enrolment process. Please ensure enrolment is completed by 1 November.
