Ferny Grove High School has 2 food venues – X Block Senior Café and Eats at the Grove Canteen. With our fantastic commercial kitchen, catering equipment and trained professional staff we provide healthy, nutritious and innovative foods and drinks to students, staff and visitors.
All the profits generated by these enterprises are directed back to the school via the P&C to improve educational outcomes for our students.
Canteen
The Canteen is available for all members of the school community. The Canteen is located in E Block. The Canteen is a hive of activity where students can purchase food and drinks to take back to their year level areas.

X Block Senior Café
X Block Café proudly serves MERLO coffee prepared by our trained baristas.
The Café provides a catering service to our Year 10 to 12s. It's not only a valuable learning space, it's an amazing eating and meeting place with its relaxed and open feel. Our Senior Cafe is located on the ground floor of X Block. The café provides a stylish and modern area with a calm atmosphere where students can gather with friends or sit and study outside of the classroom.

Ordering
Pre-ordering is only available under special circumstances and in consultation with the Manager.
If you have any special dietary requirements (gluten free, vegetarian or vegan), our friendly staff are more than happy to offer guidance as to what choices are available. If you have food allergies, we recommend you pre-order between 8-9 am. While all care is taken to reduce the risk of cross contamination due to the nature of our kitchens and the sharing of utensils and equipment, we cannot guarantee food to be completely free of allergens.

Please note that we do not offer “cash out".
As per school policy phones students are not allowed to be used during school time. Therefore, we are unable to accept phone payment after the start of the school day ie 9am.
FLEXISCHOOLS
Student ID cards linked to a Flexischools account Flexischools student ID payment system is a convenient, fast and secure payment for canteen purchases.
