Details: Ferny Grove High School has 2 food venues – X Block Senior Café and Eats at the Grove Canteen. With our fantastic commercial kitchen, catering equipment and trained professional staff we provide nutritious and flavourful foods and drinks to students, staff and visitors. All the profits generated are directed back to the school via the P&C to improve educational outcomes for our students.

Job Description:
To succeed in this role, you will have:

This is a fast-paced environment and as well as providing daily meal service in a school with over 2200 students and staff, the canteen also provides regular additional catering to the school community.
Working hours will be as per our roster requirements, flexibility is essential as you may be required to work extra hours. Rostered hours can be between 6.30 am – 3:00 pm with a minimum shift of 3 hours duration. This is generally a school term-based position although applicant must be available for mandatory training of approximately 5 hours the week prior to 2025 student commencement.
