German Immersion Drama Teacher required from 2021 at Ferny Grove State High School, Brisbane.
Expressions of interest are invited for part-time German Immersion teachers to teach Drama and German at Ferny Grove SHS, Brisbane, from 2021.
Teaching in the mainstream German classrooms may also included.
As a German Immersion teacher, you will have a commitment and ability to teach German as a foreign language from Years 7 to 12 and be strong in the teaching areas of German and Drama. This work involves a content and language integrated learning (CLIL) approach. These subject areas are delivered in German in the German Immersion Program. The focus is on utilising quality teaching and learning materials by developing language experiences focusing on relevant curriculum content. There is a strong emphasis on developing long term positive relationships with students, teachers and our school community.
The part-time German Immersion Drama teacher (0.6 fraction) is required from 2021
