Our school

Ferny Grove State High School is a secondary school for Years 7 to 12 with approximately 1720 students.

We provide high quality opportunities for students to develop and excel in academic, cultural, sporting and citizenship spheres.  Features of Ferny Grove State High include:

    • 1 in 4 students typically achieves an overall position (OP) 1 to 5 and at least 85% typically achieve an OP of between 1 and 15.
    • 97% of students applying for tertiary placements typically receive a university offer.
    • 99% of graduating students exited in 2015 with a Queensland Certification of Education or recognised Vocational Education Training (VET) qualification.
    • NAPLAN results are well above those of like schools, state and national averages.
