Hello Ferny Grove State High School community!
We are honoured to be your 2026 School Captains. Over the last five years, Ferny
has become more than a place of learning for us, more than just a school. Ferny Grove is a community made up of 2,000 one-of-a-kind people who, every day, shape and build the culture of the school we are so proud to serve.
This year, we wanted to focus on resilience. Here at school, we are constantly encouraged to aim high, and as captains, we believe it is vital that our peers know they always have the support and encouragement to reach for the stars. In a world that is constantly evolving and presenting new challenges around every corner, we believe resilience is one of the most powerful qualities a person can develop.
As captains, we aim to foster a culture where every student feels valued, supported and empowered, even in times of hardship. Whether this is through setting goals for themselves, building strong and supportive connections, or learning to embrace challenges as opportunities for growth, we hope to walk alongside every Ferny Grove student as they do so.
In doing this, we hope Ferny continues to grow, not only in resilience, but towards a stronger, more interconnected community.
